How Fee & Brown began...
We love nothing more than meeting with friends and sharing delicious coffee in a great atmosphere, and living in North London we have always been spoilt for choice!
However, after many a weekend visiting friends in Beckenham and struggling to find a good coffee house we realised that the Beckenham locals were in need of a nice place to go for an artisan coffee! And so it was here that Fee & Brown was birthed!
We began searching for a location for Fee & Brown, spotted our current premises, and instantly fell in love! Not only was the place blessed with a view of St George’s church but it was streaming with natural light! We knew this would be the ideal hub for the people of Beckenham to enjoy great coffee.
From there we embarked on the journey of choosing our coffee beans. It was important to us that we sourced quality, tasty coffee – which is why we began our relationship with Caravan Coffee. Like us, Caravan are genuine lovers of great coffee. They expertly source all our beans from around the globe and hand roast them in their London Roastery – which enables us to provide you with a fresh, unique Fee & Brown coffee blend which has the locals turning up for more!
We love that we have created an atmosphere in Beckenham where friends, family and neighbours can engage in conversation over a great cup of coffee!
Alongside our coffee we have also launched our own blend of loose leaf teas which complement our delicious varieties of home-baked cakes, danishes, artisan bread sandwiches and salads.
We think it needs to be said that many have asked how Fee & Brown derived its name, but like the art of coffee making – we like to keep some things our little secret.
